Story and Process Rose Tambanis is an award-winning artist who primarily works in oil and pastels. Formally based in Kuranda in Far North Queensland, she now lives in Hampton, Victoria. Rose's jewelry designs are inspired by natural gemstones that she sources from around the world. Each gemstone is unique and may have veins or slight faults which only add to their character! Most of Rose's pieces are handmade using sterling silver, bronze and copper fine wire. These threads are woven into individual pieces using age-old designs which are finally finished with found or handmade objects.
